Problem with Gnats?

Question

I appear to have gnats breeding in my bedroom. How do I stop them?

They cover me with bites and disturb me when I am sleeping.

If you have house plants in  your room, you may have fungus gnats living and breeding in moist soil.  These are best handled with Dimilin, which keeps them from developing and maturing.  The easiest way to get it is from a store which has a large stock of fish supplies, as it's used in disease control for fish - Koi, goldfish, etc.  The label won't exactly translate, but you can't put in too much.

I use it as a powder made into a suspension in my hydroponic greenhouse and it's labeled for mushroom production.

I thought it was spelled with a "K" Knats. But it's with a  "G"? The best way to get rid of them is to CLEAN YOUR ROOM!

Go to Lowes, Wal-mart, ACE Hardware..one of those places and buy the spray u are able to spray around ur house (outside and inside) around the bottom of the walls to prevent bugs from coming in..then just take RAID and kill'em (ones that are living at the timE)...hopefully this should work

Try getting a container, like a bowl or something, and put vinegar in it. Then wrap the top of the bowl and around the sides with Saran wrap. (Like you do when you wrap up leftovers.) Then poke little holes in the top with a fork or something. The gnats are attracted to the smell and when they get in they drown. Good luck with them.

try putting lavender oil around the place just a dab here and there and to stop then biting you just put a dad of oil on your wrists ankles that should stop it good luck
