Problem with Marantz DV 7001 DVD player

I just got brand new Marantz DV 7001 dvd player. It's perfect overall except for one thing. Every 20 or so minutes picture disappears for a couple of seconds. I'm using HDMI (newest Monster M1000 and Ultralink Titanium MK II) cables.Tried both cables - same thing. My new Sony LCD worked perfectly with my previous Sony upscaling player. My friend who has the same Marantz DVD player claims he's having the same problem. My gut feeling tells me it has to do with HDMI.Any suggestions?
