Problem with PS3, no video with HDMI to DVI Converter?

I'm connecting my PS3 to my projector (Benq PB8260) using a HDMI/DVI adaptor but there is no picture.

I have done everything that can be done such as holding the power button to reset it, getting a new HDMI cable, and even sending it into Sony. I know it isn't the cables or anything themselves because i connect the hdmi cable to another dvd player and it works just fine

. If anyone could help me out i would be extremely grateful.

Weird...

Two things:

Did you try to connect your PS3 with the Regular RGB cable and did this work?

I'm thinking this may be due to the PS3 refresh rate settings.
