Problem with Phillips DVD recorder?

Question

My Phillips dvd worked fine for 12 months + but now when i try to play ANY TYPE of disc it just says''not supported disc type''

As anyone else had this problem and any ideas how to fix?

I had a Phillips, only time I had that sort of problem was if the disc was damaged or dirty.

Buy a disc cleaner for CD/DVDs.  It's a disc with a little brush on it.
