Problem with Printing Adobe PDF files?

Why can I print certain Adobe PDF files but not other ones? I am currently trying to print an adobe pdf file, but my printer ignores the command. When I try to print other pdf files, the printer works without a problem. Is there a way to fix this problem?

  1. Paul's right; sometimes the author, for whatever reason, makes the document unprintalbe (unsave-able sometimes too).

    Try an alternate PDF file reader/maker.

    Check out 'snapfiles.com/freeware' for some open source applications that may get around this condition.


  2. There might be copy protection on the PDF that prevents printing. Its all copyright stuff.
