Problem with UPS tracking.

i got a new reciever from dish network which didnt work. so i packed it up and put on the return shipping. later that day i went shopping and found a dish network store. the store owner said that he would give it to the ups driver. i gave him the reciever on friday around 4pm. and its now monday. when i try to go to ups.com and try to track it it tells me ">>> UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later. "

should i be worried, becuz the store owner didnt give me anytime showing that i dropped it off. i asked if he was going to give me some kind of reciept or anything and he said "im doing you a favor, if your that worried about ur box then take it"

its tuesday now and there still havent been an update on the ups website.

should i wait until friday and call dish network to see if they got the reciever?

i didnt get a phone number from the dish network store that i dropped it off at. and its about hour drive there.

what should i do?

  1. You really need to get in touch with the dish network store you left it with.  I am sure you can locate it through the dish network on-line.  Certainly they should have shipped it by now.

  3. The reason why the shipment couldnt be found is because the shipment hasn't been entered into the UPS system yet. Not even the billing information was entered in when I tried to track it so obviously the person did not ship out the item. I advise you to go get your package and ship it yourself.
