Problem with Windows Movie Maker?

I've got a JVC hard disk camcorder and i can't load videos in Windows Movie Maker from it !

If I drag the videos into the timeline on Movie Maker the trackng goes weird and its not clear at all!!

Help greatly appreciated :) Thankyou

  1. Did you save the videos onto the PC first? are you trying to drag video directly from camcorder to timeline?

    Go to TOOLS->OPTION->ADVANCED, have you selected NTSC or PAL and 4:3 or 16:9 according to your video type. after all this still not working,download the latest version.


  2. hmmm download a new version or its because of the format of the video its wma or somthing or avi.

  3. JVC uses a proprietary format. You will need to convert it to another format. There are various ways to do this.
