Problem with Windows XP SP2...?

Question

I downloaded it from the website but when I extract it it extracts all the way and then says file could not be specified, installation failed. Does anyone know why it says this and how to fix it? I've looked all over the internet but no one seems to be having this problem. And I'm using Windows XP Home Edition (2002) right now. Any help is appreciated!

You should not only download it, but also install it

well, try to download sp2 from another site or try to get it from a friend. I think it's better you format your hard drive insted of installing sp2 on your actual win xp... good luck.
