Problem with avg anf firefox

recently i just installed firefox then i installed the AVG 8.0 free edition. but everytime i open my firefox, the plugins window always popup saying that the AVG browser plugin is not compatible with firefox. will this be a problem when im using firefox, or can i just let it be?

  1. It has something to do with AVG and the safe search. There isn't a plug in that makes FF compatible yet.

    I use FF but I'm using Avast Home Edition http://avast.com for my anti-virus [which is better than AVG anyway] and don't have any problems.

    It might be worth you changing to that.
