Problem with braces..?

Recently, Well yesterday i had my braces put on.. Yep it hurts and all but im coping with the pain without getting used to pain killers.. But thats not the problem..

I Have an over bite which causes my face to look puffy because of the wire around my mouth especially the upper lip.. is this going to go away soon? Or will i have to suffer like this until the braces come off :(

i have braces on too and i have an overbite. give it a month or two and you won't even feel the braces! and once you get them off, it'll feel wierd without the braces!

It might get a little better but your jawline won't change just from braces.It is definetly going to be the worse in the beginning though.But if it really bothers you can put that wax they give you on your bottom to even it out.

Yes it's going to go away with time . Your mouth will get use of having a wire and in like one or two week it's not going to show anymore.

they will hurt and cause other little problems only for a few days... you will get used to them soon (less than a week as far as i remember). Just try to eat soft stuff at 1st and make sure u always brush very good
