Question:

Problem with charging, please help!?

I just got the Dare today, and it had half battery power, so I plugged it in and about an hour later it showed all the bars in the battery icon. Then after like, 10 minutes of using it, it went down to half power!

Was I supposed to charge it for a couple hours?

Also, if it says like, full power, but then I have it charging all night, would that damage it?

When you turn it off, then plug it in to charge, can it still charge fully?

Last question: Would it be better to turn my cell phone off at night if it's at full power, or have it charging all night when it's at full power?

  1. When you first get your phone, charge it for 2 hours regardless of what the battery shows and then run it all the way down. Most cell phones have a battery charge cutoff chip inside the phone, charging it all night won't damage it. The battery will still fully charge if the phone is turned off. Just turn off your phone at night if it still has a full charge, that will save battery power for the next day and prolong the battery's life.

When batteries are new, it takes a few charge and discharge cycles in order for the battery to work at peak capacity. The battery should last about a year and a half if the battery is in proper working order.

  2. I dont have the dare but I have the enV and sometimes my phone does the same thing you just have to leave it on charge longer

    hope I helped : )
