Problem with college or sixth form choice?

heres the thing my mum wants me to and best friends are going to college which is one of the best colleges in the country i also want to go there but i would feel more comfortable going to our schools sixth form where i have good mates i am familiar with the teachers and school itself so i dont know what to do i gues im afraid of change and meeting and socialising with new people as im so shy i dont want to be left behind by my confident mates at college any opinions of what i should do

Tell her your concerns and decide what's best for you.

You say your best mates are going with you to the more academic college, would that help your confidence enough or do you need the school your familiar with.
