Problem with extraction site.. HELP NO CLUE WHY IM having problems

so i had my bottom right wisdom tooth removed the 22nd of july and its now august 2nd.

so my problem is i never experienced any pain after the extraction a lil bit here and there. but since i got the stitches removed tuesday july 29 i have been in pain bleeding again.

i mean the pain is an 8/10. 10 bein the worse. bleeding off and on most of the day. but not bad enuff for guaze.

i played 2 softball game tuesday the 29 if that makes any difference.

is this just a late dry socket?

infection?

should i make an appt. monday with my dentist??

it is a dry socket and im sure your bone is exposed. it might not have infection but you do need an appointment so they could close it.

Dry socket can happen two weeks after extraction.  It is characterized by bad pain, and usually a metallic taste in your mouth.  I would call your dentist. If anything, they can ease your fears and give you pain meds or antibiotics.
