Ok i moved into a new apt June 10th. Its a pretty big apt community with at least 10 apts building. So far everything is going great. not too loud and the management is very good. When i moved in they gave me a sticker for my car to show that i live here. people who do not live here have a specail place to park. However they like to park in front of the apt building and that means people who do live here have to park far away. the girl below me has a guest who has taken my spot for the past two weeks. i tried talking to them to no avial. finally i called the landlord and they talked to the girl. I am usually cool about things, but i had to put my foot down on this. well four days ago i got a note on my car saying " B&tch..who the h**l do you think you are telling me and my guest where to park?" I tried to talk to her in a nice way, but she would not listen. this morning three of my car tires where slashed. i have a good feeling i know it was that chick. my landlord is gone for the day. should i call the police? thaks

  1. Yes, call the police.

  2. Usually in a case like this you will need proof and the note is perfect.... but you need to be able to prove to the police that she or her friend slashed your tires...you can make documentation of the conversation that your landlord had with the other tenant  about the parking and file a police report...or insist on your landlord towing unauthorized parked cars and everytime she parks there she can get towed...just be careful because these sound like some petty, don't have a life, miserable b*t*c*s and they don't have any thing better to do

  3. Yes, call the police before it gets

any worse.  Have it on record what

    has been going on.

Some people refuse to follow the

    rules, and are dangerous.

  4. Call the police and report it now.  The girls sounds crazy.  It's your tires now and next could be you.  Give the police the note also.  If she parks in your spot again call a tow truck.

  5. You should go to the police with your tyres being slashed as it is a criminal offence.  Be very cautious about accusing your neighbours friend, you still have no proof it was her.  Keep a note and times of anything else that may happen to your car.  Don't make an enemy of your neighbour, things may get worse.  But talk to the police about your concerns they should be able to advise you on a good course of action.  Also keep your landlord up to date with any concerns, but keep yourself totally in the right.  You don't want this whole situation coming back and blowing up in your own face.

  6. Yes, call the police....  Simple

  7. I think you should because if the landlord has already talked to her then something is not getting through to her. So maybe the police can get through to her.

      Good Luck!!!

I hope things work out between you and her!!!

  8. Definitely. Did you keep the note? It could be good evidence. Get the ***** spoken to by police and fined.

  9. YES and hopefully you didn't throw away that note !! the police may be alble to lift fingerprints from it. If they ask you to sign a complaint DO IT, don't back down from these idiots, and the minute your landlord is available talk to them about this. Maybe they can either move you or move the offenders, or if worse comes to worse, get another place and get a lawyer so you can break the lease. Keep written copies of everything and notes, and if there is any way to record anything that is said to you by the offenders then do so. Also you may be legally able to put your rent in an escrow account until the problem is taken care of to your satisfaction ( again check with a lawyer). Best of luck.
