  1. you cant because the itunes automatically synced to your ipod touch and it erased your songs and need to transfer your old songs from your old comp to your new one

  2. Plug in your ipod to the new laptop and it should come up with transfer purchases or erase and sync. Click transfer purchases and it will. then go to the store menu and click authorize computer. Do what it says. Then make sure all of your music is there. Then click erase and sync. It will work. I did id yesterday.

  3. no. I have tried many many times and I kno from expierence and people.. it's just not possible.

  4. you need to back up all the songs on to discs from the old computer, then transfer them, there is no way to do this unless they are itunes purchases in which case when you plug your ipod in it will offer you to transfer purchases

  5. iTunes basically acts as "home base" for your iPod Touch. You can move music and video onto the iPod Touch, but it cannot act as the "home base" for another computer's iTunes.

However, you can stream music THROUGH your iPod Touch. Simply connect the iPod to the old computer, and check the box labeled "Manually Manage Music and Videos". When you connect the iPod to your new computer, you will be able to browse and play the music stored on the iPod, through the new computer's speakers.

You're going to need to move all of your music and movies directly from iTunes to iTunes if you'd like everything to stay on the new computer.
