Problem with itunes - please help?!

I have put quite a lot of songs on my ipod Nano but some of the songs are only available when selecting the "albums" option on the original menu list. Is there any way you can make it so every single song comes up when clicking on the "artists" option?

It's pretty much about tagging the songs right.If any song by an artist has even the slightest difference in the "Artist" field (under info when you right click a song in iTunes), it will not show up in the correct list later.
