Problem with media player or with my computer?

when ever i play a video or music(any player) and run it in background and work with someother application (including internet) my system is damm slow so please help me guys and try to resolve it

  1. try uninstalling media player, then restarting and installing it again.

    try adding more ram memory at least 1 gb, 2gb is better. or attach a usb thumbdrive built for vista readyboost. if you're using windows xp, try using eboostr.com with that usb drive. i am using sandisk extreme contour 8gb with eboostr, and my pc is fast.

    if you have a problem with codecs, try downloading and installing k-lite codec pack from betanews.com

    i am using windows media player 10 with windows xp; i do think that it is better than 11.


  2. What operating system and what version of Media Player beause you may need to upgrade.  Are you running a good computer maybe upgrade for more memory.

  3. well if you have a lot of files then maybe yu should compress them, first go to my computer icon and right click, general, advanced and compress then do the same  for my documents, then go to control panel and go to performance and maintenance and free up space on your hard disk, then thte one below it rearange items on your hard disk to make programs run faster.
