Problem with my HDTV 2 years old.

Question

My grandma just asked me to come see her TV and she said it kinda made a loud sound and went out. I checked and we got it on once then it turned back off then when i looked behind it, it randomly would turn itself on for about 7 seconds blank screen and go off and it will keep doing that until we unplugged it. Any suggetsions???

Sounds like a bad power supply in the TV.  I may be repairable, but the TV is likely out of warranty.  See if you can find a factory-authorized repair shop and get an estimate.  Not much else you can do.

Try unplugging it from the wall for an hour and plugging it back in, this simple solution helped me in the past with an LCD tv about 1 and 1/2 years old. I guess it's supposed to reset the system. It worked for me, and worth a try anyways.

maybe something is wrong with the plug..

or maybe someone is haunting u guys
