  1. If you flick the toggle switch and the sound doesn't change, then you have a broken switch most likely.

Since there are a lot of wiring things that could also be the issue, I would suggest that you take your guitar to a guitar tech and ask them to look at the wiring.

I mean, it could be a loose wire, a wire shorted against the ground, a mechanical failure in the switch, a wire short on the switch itself, a soldering joint gone bad pretty much anywhere in the guitar, could be a faulty pot that's causing the sound differential... it's really hard to tell without the guitar in front of you, armed with a multimeter...

If you have a less expensive (cheap) guitar then a faulty switch is probably the problem... but it's best to be certain!

    Good luck!

  2. Tighten the retainer at the top. maybe it is loose and preventing you from switching to the bass pickup.

i doubt that you broke it. OFten, it rotates and you have to reset it, and re-tighten the retainer.

  3. i've had that too it's not the guitar it's the amp that raw crazy sound is more for heavy metal you must have accidentally hit that button hit it again if it dosen't work your amp is probably broken
