Problem with my iPod nano ?

For the past days, I've plugged my iPod nano into my computer and it doesn't show up on my iTunes. I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, still nothing. I've tried unplugging it, reseting computer, then plugging it back in, nothing happens. So just a few hours ago, I went over to a friends house, plugged it into his computer and again it didn't show up on his. Whenever I plug it in, the iPod has the charging icon on the screen but it's not reflected anywhere so I can't add songs to my iPod. What is the problem and what can I do to solve it?

  1. u can reset it by putting hold then taking it off hold and holding the menu and center button. or it might be that u need a more advanced itunes program. thats wat happened to me and it was because i need the another version. look on the back of the ipod case and check that u have the right program version.

  2. Resetting your iPod may or may not work, but you can try it if it does help it to respond to either computers. Click the center and menu button for several seconds, then plug it in, if no response, try locking, and unlocking your iPod for 3 tries plug it in. Still your response, then try plugging in your iPod into a different USB port, it should work, if not then maybe iTunes may be a bit outdated. If that isn't the case, then try opening iTunes your self and insert your iPod. If not then, contact your nearest Apple Store near you.

  3. reset your ipod

  4. Go to your local Apple store.  They are great there.

  5. try reseting it by holding the menu and select buttons.

  6. you could try reseting your ipod, doesn't erase anything, by toggling the hold button, then holding down the centre and menu button unitl the apple icon shows up on the screen of the ipod, then try plugging it in again
