  1. on the driving range do not use the mats, hit off the grass when ever you can.

on the driving range picture a hole on the golf course you play the most, and imagine playing that hole, from tee to green.

One of the most common problems in moving from hitting on a range to playing on  a course is not getting to hit the same club several times in a row. On the range you know that if you don't hit it great just drop another ball and hit it again, on the course your body gets a little tight with the knowledge that if you do not hit it great, it costs you.

One of the best driving range tips I ever got was the imagine playing a hole from tee to green so you get the feel of hitting the next shot, not hitting 10 shots with your 3 wood, then 10 shots with your 5 iron.

  2. Just act like your on the driving range when your playing a round.

  3. Try to find something that helps you relax before you play on the course.  Tension does bad things to a golf swing.

  4. First of all, how accurate are the yardage markers on the driving range? I question the 250 yard drives. So, as the pro stated to me several years ago, the swing one develops has to be the one which is used both, on the range and on the course. The consistency will develop confidence which translates into better golf shots.
