Problem with my new hidef comcast?

there is an almost constant delay between my picture and audio on my tv. the picture is always a second or two ahead of the audio. i got comcast digital cable with the hidef box. hdmi is whats hooked up.

the cable you are using for the hidef box might not have

enough signal for your box.  best way is to have a tech to come out and check the signal with a meter. highdef box should atleast get +4 db to get a good picture. mine is around +18 because ihave an amp.

Is there a way to reset your comcast box?  I have Dish Network and when this happens to mines, I simply press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds to reset it. Then after it boots up, everything is synch together. GL.

If it happens on every channel, it's your cable system or cable box. If it only happens on some HD channels, it's the channel's fault and you can't fix it.

To reboot your box, pull the power cord out of the back of your cable box, wait two minutes, and plug it back in. This could help.
