Problem with my new laptop and my sims game.. ?

Question

I installed my sims game to my new laptop just now and its virtually unplayable because my sims leave a kind of 'trail' behind them when they are walking round (like loads of identicle images of themselves overlapping..if you understand what i mean!) or their bodies dissapear completely leaving just a head. This seems to get worse when they get dressed (when they are in their underwear its fine).

Does anyone know if i need to change any settings or what...? Thanks!

its happened to me before too. i reinstalled it and it worked fine after that

Mine does the exact same thing... and its funny it didn't do it on my desktop computer but just my laptop... I'm sorry I really don't know what to do but your not the only one with the problem!

Ugh. Do you not know to NOT INSTALL games that need that much RAM on your comp? Games aren't meant for laptops, really. Becuase laptops do not hae either, enough RAM, or a big enough video things will not shows up and your game will be terribly slow... :-( But, yeah, desktops can handle that stuff.

You laptop does not have enough RAM. Or big enough video card.
