Problem with my routers connecting to the internet.?

I have no idea how to connect to the internet and im not good with computer logo so please bear with me and simplifie as much as possible.

I have 2 computer, Computer A and Computer B.

Computer A is upstairs and uses a wireless Netgear usp adapter thing and it is getting connection to the internet through my wireless connection VFNT3.

Computer B is downstairs and it isnt getting any connection through the internet. Computer B does not have a wireless usp adapter instead it has something called Ethernet i think.

I have no idea how to even set up computer B so if you know please walk me through it. I have two router looking things, [but im not sure if they both are routers so bear with me]. Router 1 says Netgear Wireless router. Router 2 says Verizon fios and it has the same Wep key that i typed in for Computer A to get internet accses, AND it is connected to a big black wire coming out from the wall.

Router 1 and 2 have something for computer 2 to connect through using Ethernet but im not sure which one i plug Computer 2 into. Each time i plug it into something it doesnt say that it is getting connection and when i try to use the network setup wizard it says that something is disconnected.

By the way, im not sure if this has anything to do with the problem, Computer B use to have the wireless netgear adapter but since the original downstairs computer broke i switched it out with the downstairs computer and i just bought computer A.

I know this is very confusing but please try to use simple language with as little computer logo as possible... Im new at setting up computers.

  2. I'll try to answer your question as simply as possible. Computer A is upstairs and has a Wireless USB adapter and great it's connected to the internet (that means your setup is good). Computer B does not have a wireless adapter it has ethernet. Ethernet requires a cable to be run from computer B to your Netgear wireless router (it has plug looking things in the back for a wire.. a big telephone looking connector.) you need to buy a wireless adapter for computer B, unless you want to run a cable all the way from downstairs to the upstairs where your Netgear Router is. Forget all the other details you shared but the Verison FIOS is very very sweet... super fast.. it's not a router but your "connection" to the internet, your router serves this connection to other computers. Once you get a Wireless adapter installed on Computer B and the software installed you should see your network VFNT3 (I think that's what you named it) at that point you'll need to enter your wep key on computer B.. Now your connected.. If you want to run a cable update your question or message me..
