Problem with my tv?

when you go to play a game console such as a ps2 you have 3 plug that go into the tv - the video, the left audio, and the right audio and for any console i play the left audio does not work right, at first it might work but then it stops working and i want to know how i can fix this cuz i dont have enough money to buy a new tv or another tv i can use to play video games on when i want to

  1. Could be as simple as a bad audio cable (white/red).  If that isn't the problem then it is the game system or the inputs on the back of the tv.


  2. Are you using the same cable each time? If so, it's probably a bad connector. If not, the connection on the tv most likely needs to be re-soldered. If your good with electronics, you may be able to do this yourself but be aware that tvs retain high power even with the tv unplugged (they have large capacitors). Unfortunately, any service call is expensive.
