I have a Troy built weedeater (it's the snap-on) edger, blower snap-on, anyhow, i been using thins thing for the past couple of years and i've never had a problem with it but now i don't know what in the world is wrong with it, it starts just fine but as soon as i throttle it dies, but i has a little switch for the choke and if i keep the choke ON (thet means holding the switch) it works fine, but i know it's not since it smokes a little, can someone tell me what to do? PLEASE, any ideas???

  1. Check the stone filter inside the gas tank. Fish it out with a hooked wire, and ensure it`s not stopped up. Also, check the two fuel lines going from the carburator to the fuel tank. These can break or get a hole in it, and allow the carb. to suck air.
