Question:

Problem with selling stolen goods to Ongar in Oblivion for PC?

I in the thieves guild and I am on the first quest where I have to sell 50 gold worth of stolen goods to Ongar the World-Weary. I stole quiet a few things, Armour, weapons, food, and books and whenever I talk to him and I ask about a fence for selling my stuff he tells me that he will buy stuff from me.

But there is no tab to sell anything to him and no option to sell anything to him. What can I do to fix this?

  1. Sell your stolen items to him like you would sell normal items to a regular merchant. If you can't sell to him at all, then there must be some kind of bug. I would suggest starting a new character to see if the problem persists, and if it does, you need to patch your game to a newer version or download the unofficial oblivion patch.
