Problem with selling things on eBay

Question

I just put 2 items on sale for ebay, then it asked me for my credit card details for the fee. But should that not take it out of my Paypal account, which i have set up??

Also, when I check my profile settings, it tells me i have no items for sale.

Anyone know what is wrong??

sounds weird... I think you can set your ebay fees to be payed thru paypal but im not sure why it wouldnt show your listed items..

Nope, Ebay bills seperately...although you can pay your Ebay bill with paypal once established.

Also, when I check my profile settings, it tells me i have no items for sale

They should appear instantly, so maybe because you haven't paid yet they haven't been listed...check under saved listings, or go to "help forums"

the ebay fees do not come out of paypal. two seperate things from each other. they just work together. you must have made something wrong when posting the items. they should show up right away. Have you tried selling on your local craigslist. much easyer, people pick it up so you dont have to hassle with postage and its free.

ebay requires a credit card to verify identity and to claim its fees.  they figure that your pay pall account might not be funded when it is time for their payment.  It takes a few hours for your items to list on your profile, give it some time.   All the things are listed on eBay's frequently asked questions.
