Problem with snowboard sizes for me?

I am about 5"10 but my foot size is only 7. According to a website calculator, I need a board that is..

length: 152cm

waist width: 238-240cm

Do they even make mens snowboards with those dimensions? Should I experiment with women's snowboards? haha

  1. it is a little narrow for a 152 but if your still growing then you'll be fine. if your foot size is a 7 i'd say you may be riding in 7.5 maybe even 8 boots (depends on thickness of liner) that will deff. help.

    grab a 152....i think you'll be fine.

  2. Small feet make your choice easier than big feet.  Choose the length that is right for your height and weight.  With small feet you don't have to go to a mid-wide or wide board - just stick with the regular sizes.  You could use a girl board if you like - there is no shame in that - you just have to live with the color and graphics. You don't have to though: the little extra waist width will not be a problem for you.

  3. If you are 5'10 you can definitely go for a bigger board unless you are super skinny and weak.

Better rule of thumb is a freeride board should come somewhere between your chin and nose.  Closer to the chin if you are lighter, close to the nose if you are heavier.  A freestyle board should be shorter, from below the chin to mouth.

But if you still want a shorter board most manufacturers make guys boards that are 152 or shorter.
