Problem with timer on Thomson DTI1000 after power...

Question

I have owned a Thomson DTI1000 for many years and use the timer function regularly. It is set to switch on, together with my vcr, two times each weekday and this work fantastically until there is a power cut. After a power cut the timed event remains in the box but the date reverts to an old date which means that the box then doesn't switch on at the appointed time. I have version 3.4 of the software. Any ideas please as it is driving me crazy!
