Problem with wireless mouse?

Ok first things first:I don't know what type of wireless mouse I have(I only see Typhoon it) and I have no clue how to find out.

So here's the problem:

I install the software like normal,restart my computer,disconnect my current mouse and connect the wireless's mouse receiver,and then wait for the computer to restart.After that....nothing.I click the Synchronize and nothing happens.This is very annoying.Please step by step instructions,cause I have no clue about computer software and hardware.

Avoid these in your answering:

1:The mouse batteries are fully recharged(I think so);

2:I bough the mouse a few months ago and decided now to use.I kept in a safe drawer and it's not broken or something;

3:There is NO virus on my computer that could interfere with the software;

  1. You say in your question " click the Synchronize and nothing happens"  Do you mean the button on the underside of the mouse?  Try pushing the button on the undeside of the mouse, then pressing the button on the receiver.

  2. I have a "Trust" Wireless Optical Mouse with my PC as my other one that came with my Desktop was knackered! ;)

    My one was quite straight forward,..i put two New AA batteries in the back of my Mouse,..plugged the USB Receiver into the USB port on the back of CPU ,..it was detected by my PC,and started to Install the Drivers for my Device,..and that was it,..my Mouse was now working.;)

    If you're Mouse is one of those ones with the Reset button on it,..then i'm not to sure about it.

    My Mum was trying to set hers up for ages on her New Vista PC,..and it took ages to work! ):

    I tried to help her out,but even i got fed up! ;(

    Have you read the product Instructions?,..You'll be surprised how many people on here ,..that can't be bothered,..than moan when things don't work!

    (Not that i'm accusing you of this!)

    Maybe you're USB port is faulty(one of mine is!),..if yes,..try another one.

    And remember not to plug the receiver into any front ports,..it won't work!(i know this,..as i've tried it Lol;)!

    It might just come down to the item being faulty,..just get a replacement from the store you purchased it from.

  3. You connected the USB thing for it correct?

    If not then Im not sure whats wrong, I got a Logitech mouse and it works fine, only uses one battery. But you must connect the usb thing, maybe ur usb connection is messed up try another connection?

  4. I know I had to point my mouse at the wireless reciever and press a connect button with my pen on the underside of the mouse.

  5. One thing you must have forgotten to do.

    You have to connect the mouse with the transmitter. Should be explained in the little book you got together with your mouse.

    Normally you have to press the transmitter and than you have to press a little button on the bottom of your mouse within 20 seconds or something.. You will have to use something small like a tip of a pen.

    It is a wireless mouse, without a cable, but cable or no cable, the mouse and your computer should still be connected, Wireless this time, but still. Read the instructions, It really should be explained in there.
