  1. You can pass the following information to him:

If you've received comments & messages just fine before and suddenly you're not, then this sounds like a recent glitch that many people are experiencing, where the mailbox and/or Top Page comment box is busted except for specific periods of the day.

This is not a case where you should keep trying fruitlessly to delete messages, add/view comments or send invitations. It has nothing to do with your computer system either. You can't fix this problem, but you MAY be able to work around it.

You will see old messages and comments any other time of the day, no matter what you do because at those other times the mailbox or Top Page comment box is malfunctioning. You can try deleting comments/messages and it may appear successful, but it will likely return the next day at certain times.

You will just have to VIEW the comment box and mailbox only at the specific times for when they are working properly. In other words, you will have to visit your 360 at various times of the day to see when the mailbox & top page comment box are working. Figure this out and then view your comments & messages at that time of the day. You can still send messages whenever or post comments on your page whenever, but you can't VIEW them unless it's during the time period you figured out (which is also when you can delete messages so that your mailbox doesn't get too full & start becoming the cause of other issues).

With all that said, there's no guarantee that your mailbox or Top Page comments will work at any point in the day. But at least you can check it out, just in case. For me, it works between 4am and 10am CST.

FYI: Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in early 2008. There has not been a more specific date announced on the blog yet, so it could happen any time between January and end of March 2008. Yahoo is trying to centralize its profiling services - Y!Mash, Y!360, and the regular Members profile - into one. It likely will not be called 360 anymore, so yes, it's closing in a sense. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about those.
