I have taken 4 AP exams: and the scores i got was 5, 5, 4, and 1. The 1 is for AP US HistoryI thought the AP US History exam was easy. (There is no way i screwed up that exam) What I can do now? I sent it for rescore, and rescore doesn't do the essay portion. Can someone please help?. Is there a possibility that i could have registered wrong or something?

  1. That's a very similar situation for me...I did well on my other AP test and then I saw I made a 2 on my U.S. History...I sent in for a rescore as well...hopefully it was not my mistake. I also felt that there was no way i screwed up that exam. I think it was just a mix-up or something b/c I still can't accept that I made a 2 after studying for it that much.

Keep in touch about your rescore and I'll inform you of mine--hopefully they'll both be better scores.

  2. My question is....does anyone know if it is possible to receive your multiple choice and essay score sheets to see if how it was graded? That might answer your question.

  3. my friend was in the same boat as you. he is really smart and he got a 2 on his APUSH. he sent it in and it turns out the multiple choice answr sheet skipped an answer so the computer graded his #30 with the answer to #31.

he got a 5 in the end.

  4. Like everything you do with collegeboard, you would have to pay. You can ask for a rescore of the multiplechoice (which someone grades by hand). You can also pay to get your free-response answers back. However, the graders can't write anything on the paper. If you get this back, you could have your teacher read it over and advise you on what to do.
