Question:

Problems Staying Connected to Internet on my Mac ?

SInce I moved my Mac computer (purchased 2-3 years ago) upstairs, I've been having problems staying connected to the internet. My Airport bars say I have good connection, but I get a message saying I'm not connected. ('m using safari, but the same thing happens with firefox) Usually, I click on the internet connection icon at the top of the screen, click 'Turn Airport Off' wait a few seconds, then click 'Turn Airport On' and I'll have good connection for about 15 minutes until I have to repeat the process. The modem is downstairs (almost directly below me) in my parents office, and works fine for their Windows computer. (they use internet explorer) Is there any way I can trouble shoot this, or do I have to take my computer into a specialist?
