Problems Watching A Video with VLC Player?

well this has never happend before but im having multiple lags occuring every time i watch ghost in the shell 1st gig

i download all 26 episodes of the first season via torrent and each are 340mb and i trust my computer is fast so i see no problems there

the lags go for about 10 secs and continue on. they happen for about every 4 to 5 mins so you could see this is very annoying

surprising enough is that i checked veoh and it and shows the same lags in the video when i watch it

is there some kind of codec or some adjustment i need to make in its setting to fix this problem?

try using klm codec. the best codec i ever seen.
