How would having no teeth affect your ability the properly digest food?

  1. I work in a nursing home. A lot of elderly haven't any teeth. Just need food that is pureed or soft.  


  2. You'd have to eat mostly soft foods that don't need chewing. No nuts or crunchy foods, and no steak unless you cut it in little bitty pieces.

  3. no problem digesting, just allot of flatulance due to the food not being chewed enough. never have passed any undigested food, well except the usual corn and peanuts~
