Problems getting into USA for under 21's?

Okay I kinda have my heart set on going to america next year for PAX09 and I was told by a very paranoid friend that with the people that are going being 16 -17 we might have trouble gettin in? =S

Is there any truth to that or is it PAX here I come?

No one should have any trouble getting into the USA if they have a passport. I have no idea who told you that you would have trouble getting here, but they are wrong. This is a free country and we allow anyone to come here with proper identification, any age, any time of the year. because you are under age though, you may need a parent or guardian give you a signed letter of approval to travel abroad.
