Problems growing Acorn Squash?

Question

The plants are producing many fruit's, but when the fruits get about 1 1/2" long, they wither and die. The plants are getting regular water and warm, but comfortable temperatures. Any ideas??

The squash is beginning to form nicely but all of a sudden, overnight, the leaves are starting to turn brown an crumble. Don't know why.
