Problems of the euro currency

Can someone please help me by giving me the problems of the euro currency as at now.thanks

  1. The Euro is growing stronger than the GBP, so it will get harder to export European goods to other countries.

    Also, since many different countries in the EU use the Euro, this gives the economy less flexibility. For example, if Germany was in a boom but Greece was in a recession, there is little Greece could do to correct the recession since both countries are using the same currency.


  2. It has caused heavy lower end inflation nearly everywhere it has been introduced.

    It has a one size fits all interest rate, which is proving to be a disaster for the Mediterranean countries, Ireland etc.

    Loss of national identity - countries should have their own currencies.

    Heavily over-valued.
