Problems turning my computer ON, what can it be?

When I turn on the power button:

-Sometimes it doesn't power on.

-Sometimes it powers on but only for a few seconds, then turns off by itself for a few seconds only to finally start again by itself, and then it does the normal boot.

Also, when I order windows to re-boot:

-Sometimes it does not reboot normally, instead it powers off completly and only then a few seconds later it power on by itself, and does the normal boot.

I replaced both the power button and the power supply, even knowing that there was nothing wrong with them. It was a 400W power supply and now has got 550W, so no low power suply problems.

The computer is new.

Is it something connected in the wrong place, or is it the Motherboard, or what???

Thank you.

  1. If the computer is new it should still be under warranty, call the manufacturer and let them fix the problem.
