Problems when running?

Hi there. This is quite embarrassing so please just give honest answers and don't be rude. Ok, I am a bit overweight and have recently joined a gym. I like using the treadmill but after a short period of time my inside legs(thighs) get really warm and start to burn. The skin goes really red and raw. Its hard to walk for sometimes days after wards. I think its either because they are rubbing against each other or my boxers are cutting into them. I just wanted to know if there was any way i could stop this from happening, as it is seriously preventing me from having a real go at loosing weight. Has anyone else experienced these problems?

  1. You should buy some running shorts.  You do not wear underwear with the shorts since running shorts have an integral liner built in. If they do not have this liner I would suggest that they are not "running" shorts. Look for liners made of Coolmax Alta Crepe This lightweight short liner provides increased support and supple hand, alleviating chaffing. The hydrophilic micro fibers of a good short liner instantly remove moisture from crucial areas keeping them dry. The crepe construction reduces points of contact on your skin sustaining airflow and over all comfort. Choose shorts that provide excellent breathability and moisture transfer. Good running shorts are lightweight, quick drying and pill-resistant with a soft, and silky touch to reduce abrasion.

  2. Use lots of baby powder.

That way when your legs rub together it wont be that bad.

Trust me it works. ( you might need alot since you will be sweating)

  3. try loser boxers and a heavy coating of powder.  if powder doesn't work use preparation h.  good luck on toning up and losing weight!!!
