Question:

Problems with DVD players.?

It goes like this: For a while, two DVD players in my house have gone through certain problems. Lately, it "takes a long time for something to load". The quotes are for this reason: Nothing goes through during its loading time. The DVD player freezes when I try to watch something. However, on my PS2, for a while, it wasn't able to read DVDs, until I cleaned out the inside by taking the console apart and cleaning the lense. However, I could be wrong about this problem. The DVD doesn't really freeze per se, but nothing responds and when I try to push any other buttons, it just says something in the sense of "This operation is not allowed at this moment". Do I need to clean it out? Or do I just need a new player altogether?
