In no matter what sequence I start/plug USB devices, I experience screen freezups, some of which require rebooting. I had the same problem with an Adaptec unit. I am plugging simple thumb drives and a digital camera, so I think it's not a power drain problem. The problem occurs when I try to access the stills/videos. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 2650 with USB 1.1 ports, BTW. Any ideas? Thanks in advance. Frank
