Problems with Frigidaire FRT18HB5DW0 Top Freezer...

Question

The problem started with the top freezer having froze built up inside, and bottom refrigerator was getting too warm. I shut down the power to the refrigerator, and tried to defroze the refrigerator for a day. When I tried to turn on the refrigerator again, the thermostat is silent and the compressor is not running.

Please advise.
