Problems with LG Front Loader Washer Door Leaking... help

Question

We had some problems with our LG front loader washer; the machine was leaking. My husband found that the drum seal was leaking. He replaced the drum seal; now the door to the washer will not shut.. its almost like there is a gap in the seal where the door shuts.. anyone had this problem? ANd how did you fix it? Serious answers only..
