Question:

Problems with Mozilla Firefox?

Is anyone else experiencing problems with Firefox? I was on a website earlier when it gave the error message saying firefox has stopped working. This has happened before and I have always been able to re-open firefox again. However, this time it is not reopening and "firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it's restored. To help us diagnose the problem, you can send us a crash report" I fill in the report but then it won't let me send the report! Nor can I access Firefox anymore. I have tried restarting the computer. I then uninstalled Firefox, installed it again, and shut down the computer. I have turned on the computer again and I'm still getting the same error message.

Any ideas?!

  1. Download Google Chrome, even the Beta kicks Firefox's a**.

  2. once you have cleaned firefox re install ver 2.0 then let Firefox notify you of update to ver 3.0 all should work ok

  3. uninstall again, run a program called 'CCleaner' (free download) and delete all unused registry files and clean sweep your computer. hopefully all traces of Firefox will be used.

    Then reinstall

alternatively, you could try using one of the other internet browsers

    Opera

    Netscape

    Internet Explorer (god forbid)

  4. yeah get google chrome i got it 5 minutes ago its awesome

  5. You may get virus.

  6. I HAVE ff BUT I HATE IT AS ITS REALLY c**p.  it really is. now IE is good but only to a point. and this new google seems like a mesh of the 2

you can have as many browsers as you like installed on your PC and use each of them for different sites. They will not conflict. however you should always keep your favorite one in general as your default web browser as this will be used to access the internet by default.
