Question:

Problems with Pubic Hair?

by  |  earlier

I used to shave it all off except for around the flaps because i was scared of cutting myself.

But it really hurts when I shave it because the hair doesn't come off and I'm left with a little bit of stubble, Its not so bad but its not smooth and I get spots, is that ingrowing hair? Is all this normal? Or should I get a better razor?

Now I just thought i'd try a landing strip, but i shaved at the top so it only goes halfway up my.. place where pubic hair is =] Does that look ok or is it better when the hair goes all the way up to the top?

Thanks.x

  1. Sounds like you really need to use a pubic shaver. Use a pair of scissors to trim your pubic hair before shaving. After you shave, apply some after shave lotion like GiGi No Bumps.

  2. Well, good you are thinking of your safety and avoiding cuts.

You could try a professional wax just to see how it's done properly. After that you can use homemade options e.g. sugaring or waxing.

Half way up the landing strip sounds fine. Think of it like having a hair cut and make it your individual style. Look what flatters the shape of your hips. Good news is that it grows back fast so if you make a mistake you can try again soon.

    Good luck

  3. U need a better razor and make sure u use plenty of foam.

U might also need to cut it if the hairs too long to shave.

yeh u will get the odd ingrown hair, but u get those shaving ure legs too. its nothing a pair of tweezers cant solve lol.

It dosnt really matter tbh i think men like a lil hair dwn ther, more womanly.

  4. Nowadays I do not need to shave anymore because all my pubes have fallen out.

Sure, that is normal for a pensioner, but my grand daughter of 20 uses a wonderful product called Veet.

Its a hair removal cream that she applies all over, except for inside, obviously, and then she waits a few minutes and gets in to the shower. All the unwanted hair simply washes away like magic.

No mess, no fuss and best of all... No pain.

    Try it

  5. my dear i'm sure it looks wonderful and tasty

  6. if you do cut your self,,,ill kiss it better for you lol

  7. its not your razor. its normal when it hurts shaving the stubble off. but they do have special shaving creams for that or if you just wait a little longer until the hair grows longer itll feel alot better when you shave it. and dont worry how it looks because if a guy is getting in your pants hes not going to be too concerned with how the hair looks. =]

  8. yes thats all normal shaving made me itchy so i use hair removal cream which is good or you can wax :)

  9. Hey there,

Shaving is one of the most uncomfortable methods of hair removal for down there!

The ingrown hairs rub against your underwear, and cause a lot of discomfort. As i remember.

I now use hair removal cream, for the bikini line, such as Vet or Nair.

I find this to be very effective, and i do not get ingrown hair, or uncomfortablefterwards.

You should give this a go, as it made my life so much more pleasant after shaving my bikini line!

  10. try coochy shave cream..no more bumps.

yes that is a real product and it's awesome..google it.

shave it however you feel comfortable.

  11. Let me know when landing strip is ready because my wheels are down and i ain't got enough fuel to go around again
