Problems with RCA connection on my amp...?

I have a 3KW mono amp with a 12"kicker solo x wired in parallel to the amp. When i connect both RCA cables to my amp it gives no output to the sub, but when i unplug 1 cable from input of the amp the sub kicks on. I still have my factory deck and i connected a RCA adapter to connect my amp to my system. Is this normal for the amp to only accept the 1 input to is there a problem?

  1. sometimes high output r.c.a. converter boxes are c**p.

Try  the r.c.a.s on a friends after market radio

  2. The RCA cable is bad. You can actually blow the wires off so try buying a new RCA cable and see what happens.
