  1. it doesnt have a white and red a/v cables it should mine did try it on another tv mabye its the tv it should be green blue red for hd

  2. First off, I assume you have a 5.1 or better surround sound setup to go along with your HDTV. If so read on.

Those three colored cables only take care of the video you need to get either an HDMI cable which combines HD video and Digital audio in one cable. Only the 360 pro has the HDMI port but if those three cables came with your console you should see a small mini-jack hole where the cables all come into together right where they plug into the back of the 360. This hole (looks like a mini-headphone jack) is for a high definiton tos-link cable hook-up that will plug into the back of your receiver. This is the cable that will give you digital 5.1 dolby surround sound. If you don't have this cable and the special adapter unit, go to the nearest electronics store and pick up one made by "monster" for around $30. They make several models and the video and audio are all bundled in one cable you need the one with component video hook-up. This kit will also include an adapter as well as the tos-link cable and you're all set. I don't have an HD TV yet but I do have 5.1 audio and the surround sound in the original Xbox and the new 360 games is awesome.

  3. You don't need a new set of cables.  Let me make this simple to read to fix your problem quickly.  The Red, Blue and Green cables allow HD (high definition) video to come through.  You are still required to use the red and white cables for sound.  Plug the red and white audio cables to the corresponding input to the Red, Blue, and Green video cables.

    I hope this helped :-)
