Problems with advent 7113 backlight

Question

hey guys. im having problems with my Advent 7113 laptop computer. the problem is that there is no light on the screen. kind of like when you turn the backlight off on a Nintendo ds for example.it was working fine for months and then it happened just now when i powered it on. anyway, i can still kind of make out the screen but im just wondering does anyone have a possible solution or advice on what to do. thanx in advance
